Mary is an experienced expert in the business. When you work with her you will have a correctly trained horse that is happy in the work and a pleasure to ride. Go to the Background page for Mary's accomplishments with horses and to the Students page to read about a few of her many student's successes. Based on your horse's capabilities, Mary can successfully train your horse up through Grand Prix and all levels in between. She can help you get started with your young horse and design a program, based on the recognized training scale, to develop your horse up through the levels. Each horse is treated as an individual. How far each horse advances is based on his/her athletic ability, conformation and temperament. Mares are a specialty. If you wish to bring your horse for training, a customized program will be designed to fit you and your horse. A realistic evaluation will be give to each horse as to the proper training program suited to your horse's individual needs and ability. Wildfire Farm provides an environment for the successful training of you and your horse. The quiet surroundings and comfortable amenities allow for concentration and progress. The success of the partnership also includes the training of the rider. See Instruction page for more information. The training of the horse includes various methods that offer learning opportunities and development for your horse. Mary can help teach you and your horse the proper lunging techniques, double lunge, lunge lining and ground poles. Gymnastic works over jumps can also be an important part of the training program, as well as conditioning and long walks.
