Are you struggling to have a better connection with your horse? At Wildfire Farm, we offer full-service boarding, lessons and training, and we are focused on helping riders improve their connection with their horse. Our facility spans 60 acres in scenic Northern Virginia and is conveniently located 15 miles from Morven Park in Leesburg and the town of Purcellville, and just 45 minutes from Washington, DC, and Maryland.

 

Wildfire Farm LLC is owned and run by Mary Flood, an experienced and dedicated USDF-certified and FEI dressage instructor and trainer. Young riders, adult amateurs and competitors of any age are welcome and all types of horses.

Wildfire Farm features 60 private acres in the scenic foothills of Northern Virginia with beautifully landscaped property throughout. Our facilities feature many unparalleled advantages, including:

  • Experienced and dependable staff 

  • Private and semi-private paddocks with run-in sheds

  • Nelson automatic waterers

  • Matted stalls with premium bedding

  • Fans in summer

  • Some stalls have private sunshine paddocks

  • Skylights are over each stall, providing light throughout the year

  • Natural rubber aisle way for safety and comfort

  • Wash stall with hot and cold water and heat lamps

  • Large lounge with microwave and refrigerator

  • Full bath with shower

  • Two tack rooms and tack lockers

  • Feed room with saddle pad washer/dryer

give you and your horse the best chance to be successful without compromising your horse's mental and physical health.

Mary Flood

For over 40 years, Mary Flood has been teaching riders ways to connect with their horses in order to maximize each horse and rider combination through the exploration of physical, mental and emotional aspects. Her students improve their riding skills and develop a better understanding of how to train their horses to become partners with each other.  Mary has experience with riders of all ages and the skills to get the most out of their horses, no matter the ability of the horse. Her experience with horse and rider combinations focuses on both pleasure and competition-level eventing, show jumping, hunters, competitive trail riding and Western riding.
